Goa, Oct. 12 -- The Government of India has made the e-Arrival Card mandatory for all foreign travellers, including Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders, from October this year.

The digital card replaces the old paper Disembarkation Card and must be submitted online 72 hours before arrival to ensure faster immigration clearance.

In a video message, former UK MP Keith Vaz stated that the Government of India has clarified its position regarding OCI cardholders under the new Digital Arrival Card Scheme. He said that the Government of India has announced that all foreign nationals, including OCI cardholders visiting India, are now required to fill out the disembarkation card digitally before arrival.
