Goa, May 15 -- A joint raid conducted by the DSPCA South Goa, Bajrang Dal, and the Margao Town Police Station at Khareband in Margao led to the seizure of 150 boxes containing suspected beef fat.

According to sources, the operation was carried out following specific inputs regarding the alleged storage and transportation of the suspected material in the area.

Officials stated that the seized boxes have been taken into custody for further inspection and verification. Samples are expected to be sent for laboratory testing to confirm the contents.

Police have initiated further investigation into the matter, including the source and intended distribution of the seized consignment. More details are awaited.
