Goa, Oct. 6 -- Five tourists from Bengaluru were detained by Calangute Police after allegedly going on a drunken rampage around 3 a.m., toppling and damaging nearly 8 to 10 parked scooters while returning from the beach.

The incident came to light on Monday morning when locals discovered several two-wheelers lying damaged along the roadside. Upon reviewing CCTV footage, residents identified the tourists responsible and immediately alerted the police.

The accused were later detained for questioning. Police confirmed that several scooters suffered significant damage and that a detailed investigation is underway to determine the extent of losses and appropriate legal action.
