Goa, Dec. 18 -- A major road accident involving a four-wheeler car and a motorcycle was reported on the Mapusa-Siolim road, leaving two persons with serious injuries. The incident occurred when a motorcycle carrying a rider and his pillion partner was travelling from Mapusa towards Siolim, while a car was approaching from the opposite direction.
According to locals, the four-wheeler allegedly came from the wrong side of the road and rammed into the motorcycle head-on. Both the bike rider and the pillion rider sustained severe injuries in the impact. Witnesses further alleged that the car driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
