Goa, May 15 -- Renowned physiotherapist Dr Ketan Bhatikar reportedly died after being bitten twice by a snake at the same spot, according to official information.

Sources stated that the venom spread rapidly through his body, allegedly triggering sudden seizures soon after the incident.

Dr Bhatikar was rushed to the Primary Health Centre at Dharbandora for emergency treatment. However, doctors at the facility reportedly declared him brought dead upon arrival.

The incident has sent shockwaves across Goa, with several political leaders, members of the medical fraternity, and well-wishers mourning his untimely demise.
