Goa, April 15 -- Chennai Super Kings are likely to receive a major boost midway through the league stage of the Indian Premier League 2026 season, with MS Dhoni expected to return to full fitness ahead of their crucial clash against Mumbai Indians on April 23 at the Wankhede Stadium.
Dhoni, who had been sidelined due to a calf injury sustained during CSK's pre-season camp, has already missed five matches. In his absence, Ruturaj Gaikwad has led the five-time champions. While results were inconsistent early on, the team has started to regain momentum in recent matches.
