Goa, Oct. 2 -- Delhi Police arrested two gangsters linked to the Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar-Virender Charan syndicate, who were allegedly assigned to assassinate stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui. The suspects, identified as Rahul (Panipat) and Sahil (Bhiwani), were apprehended following a gunfight on Jaitpur-Kalindi Kunj Road in the early hours of Wednesday.
Officials revealed that the duo had been receiving instructions from foreign-based gangster Rohit Godara and had reportedly scouted Faruqui's movements in Mumbai and Bengaluru. Acting on intelligence about the suspects' presence near New Friends Colony, police set up a trap on Kalindi Kunj-Pushta Road.
