Goa, Aug. 9 -- A Delhi restaurant, facing intense criticism over allegations of denying entry to customers wearing Indian attire, has put up new signage to clarify its stance.
In a viral video from Pitampura, staff members are seen placing two notices outside the establishment. One explicitly states, "All types of Indian attire are allowed in the restaurant (saree, suit, etc.)."
The second notice outlines other house rules, including restrictions on outside food and liquor, and affirms management's rights-seemingly aimed at protecting the restaurant's image after the controversy.
