India, Feb. 13 -- The deteriorating condition of a footpath in Curchorem has raised serious safety concerns, with locals reporting multiple incidents of pedestrians losing balance and falling due to loosened and uneven pavers.

Residents said the damaged surface has turned the footpath into a hazard for daily commuters. In the latest incident, a man sustained injuries after slipping on the same footpath.

Following the mishap, an In Goa reporter contacted Curchorem Police Station, who promptly shifted the injured person in a police vehicle to the Cacora Health Centre for medical treatment.
