Three arrested in Collem for smuggling protected khair wood

Three men-Hasan Shaikh, Suraj Bhosle, and Biru Babu Patkare-were arrested in Collem for illegally smuggling protected khair wood valued at around Rs 30,000. Authorities seized the timber and a rickshaw used in the smuggling. A case has been registered and investigations continue into possible wider networks.
