Goa, Aug. 8 -- Curchorem Community Health Centre, recently inaugurated and declared as a Sub-District Hospital, continues to face critical gaps in healthcare delivery due to the absence of consultant specialist services and persistent staff shortages. The lack of specialists in key departments such as surgery, gynaecology, orthopaedics, paediatrics, and anaesthesia forces doctors to frequently refer patients to Hospicio Hospital, Margao, resulting in significant inconvenience and delays in medical care for Curchorem residents.
