Goa, Oct. 6 -- Eight years have passed since construction began on the much-anticipated Curchorem Sports Complex, but instead of serv ing as a hub for athletic activity, the site now resembles a ghost house. Rusted iron structures, corroded internal roads, and an overall weak ened framework pose a serious safe ty hazard. What was envisioned as a modern facility for youth and ath letes has become an eyesore. One key feature of the complex-a large water body-was intended to be a swimming pool. Today, it lies ne glected, resembling a stagnant pond.
