Goa, Oct. 4 -- Eight years after work began on the much-anticipated Curchorem Sports Complex, the project remains incomplete and has now turned into a derelict structure resembling a ghost house.
The project, undertaken by GSIDC, was abandoned midway by the contractor despite crores of rupees already being spent, leaving behind a deteriorating concrete skeleton. Locals allege that in the absence of supervision and security, the site has been looted and allowed to decay over the years.
