India, March 21 -- Concerned residents of Curchorem met with the Police Inspector following a recent media report alleging the involvement of a councillor's son in a sex racket and drug-related activities.

During the interaction, locals urged the Goa Police to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the allegations. They stressed that if the claims are substantiated, strict legal action must be taken against those involved. At the same time, residents called for clarity, requesting authorities to publicly refute the claims if they are found to be baseless.

Emphasising the importance of maintaining law and order in the town, citizens highlighted the need for the matter to be handled with seriousness and transparency.
