Goa, Dec. 15 -- The election campaign of independent candidate Merciana Vas for the Cortalim constituency gathered momentum as she held an intensive outreach programme at Queeny Nagar, accompanied by Velsao panchayat members and the Cansaulim Sarpanch.

Addressing residents during the campaign, Cortalim MLA Anton Vas appealed to voters not to fall prey to what he termed as "misguiding tactics" being used to spread misinformation regarding the Cansaulim underpass project. He clarified that the underpass work is nearly complete, stating that around 90 per cent of the project has already been executed.
