Goa, June 26 -- Verna Police have arrested a cook identified as Kapil Manish Kumar for allegedly stealing a two-wheeler and Rs.12,000 in cash from his employer's fast food outlet in Cortalim.

The incident occurred on October 18, and a case was registered under Cr. No. 93/2024 invoking Section 306 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

The stolen scooter, bearing registration number GA.06.AE.1266, has been recovered, and the accused was apprehended in Haryana following a coordinated investigation.

Kapil Manish Kumar has been remanded to two days of police custody, while further investigation is being carried out by ASI Paresh Faldesai, the Investigating Officer (I/O) in the case.
