Goa, Sept. 17 -- Congress Youth Working President Mahesh Nadar has criticized Cortalim MLA Antonio Vas for his alleged inaction on illegal activities near BITS Pilani and the increasing drug menace in the constituency.

Nadar questioned whether Vas lacks the authority to address these issues, has vested interests, or is simply intimidated, saying, "He has failed as an MLA." The Congress leader emphasized the urgent need for effective leadership to tackle the growing concerns in Cortalim and ensure the safety of residents and students.

Nadar's remarks come amid rising public concern over illegal activities and substance abuse in the area, calling for immediate intervention by the local administration and elected representatives.
