Goa, May 15 -- Congress leader Dr Ketan Bhatikar was declared dead at the Dharbandora Primary Health Centre (PHC) in the early hours of the morning after being brought in from the Biodiversity area of Mollem.

According to sources, Dr Bhatikar was transported to the PHC by a 108 ambulance at around 3:30 am. Upon arrival, he was examined by Dr Balakrishna, who declared him dead at approximately 3:45 am.

Medical officials stated that the deceased showed no signs of response during examination and that his lips had turned blue, raising suspicion of a possible snake bite.

Police were subsequently informed about the incident, and the body has been sent for postmortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. Authorities stated that ...
