Goa, Aug. 25 -- Inmate Rovina Lobo has been remanded to 14 days in judicial custody in connection with an alleged drug smuggling case at Colvale Jail.

Lobo was arrested based on information provided by GHRDC security guard Asha Chodankar, who was also arrested for allegedly attempting to smuggle drugs into the jail.

The case concerns the alleged smuggling of drugs into the prison, with the authorities continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident and the alleged involvement of those arrested.
