Goa, Nov. 3 -- Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant, responding to allegations surrounding the electoral roll revision exercise, said that some individuals identified during Booth Level Officer (BLO) verification were found to hold Portuguese passports or reside abroad.

Sawant maintained that those who are eligible to vote can apply for inclusion in the electoral rolls by submitting Form 6, as prescribed under election rules.

He also claimed that no formal complaints had been received through the designated channel regarding the alleged irregularities.

His remarks come amid concerns and allegations surrounding the ongoing electoral roll revision process in Goa.
