Goa, Sept. 9 -- Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has announced that the Goa government will "100%" increase the benefits provided under the Dayanand Social Security Scheme (DSS) and Griha Aadhar Scheme.

Sawant said both welfare schemes have completed 12 years and the government will enhance the financial assistance provided to beneficiaries in the coming days.

The proposed increase is expected to provide additional financial support to beneficiaries enrolled under the two key social welfare schemes.

The Chief Minister said the government is committed to strengthening the schemes and improving the benefits available to eligible residents.
