India, March 10 -- Pramod Sawant has launched a system for the time-bound release of financial assistance under the Griha Adhar Scheme and the Dayanand Social Security Scheme.

With the new initiative, beneficiaries of the two schemes will now receive their pension on the 10th of every month. The move aims to ensure that financial assistance reaches recipients on time and provides greater financial stability to those dependent on the schemes.

The Chief Minister said the step has been introduced to streamline the disbursement process and guarantee timely support to beneficiaries across Goa.
