Goa, Nov. 2 -- Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant stated that Goa boasts a higher happiness index compared to other states due to the government's comprehensive care for all citizens. Highlighting his concern for worker welfare, the Chief Minister announced that the state government is actively considering an increase in the honorarium provided to those running UMEED Centres. These day care centres for senior citizens are supported by the Directorate of Social Welfare, Government of Goa.
