Goa, July 21 -- Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Monday made two key assurances in the Goa Legislative Assembly during Zero Hour discussions, responding to concerns raised by Opposition Leader Yuri Alemao and Benaulim MLA Venzy Viegas.

Responding to Alemao's plea, Sawant assured that the government will grant accreditation to former students of the erstwhile Don Bosco Agriculture College in Sulcorna, enabling them to become eligible for agriculture-related government jobs. "We will take necessary steps to ensure these students are not left behind due to institutional changes," Sawant said.
