Goa, Aug. 6 -- In a sharp attack on the Pramod Sawant-led government, opposition leaders have criticized the Chief Minister for holding as many as 45 portfolios, suggesting it reflects a deep lack of confidence in his own Cabinet.

"When one person holds this many portfolios, it clearly indicates he doesn't trust his ministers to handle key responsibilities," an opposition member said, further alleging that the CM believes his team is incapable of managing governance effectively.
