Goa, July 28 -- The High Court of Bombay at Goa on Monday issued notices to the State government, the Directo rate of Vigilance and for mer Chief Town Planner (CTP) Rajesh Naik on a writ petition challenging the Vigilance Directorate's decision to exonerate Naik in a Town and Country Planning (TCP) land con version fee case. The writ petition was filed by activist Swapnesh Sherlekar and two others, Jose Carlos da Viera Gra cias and Rupesh Shinkre.

It challenges the Directorate of Vigilance order dated May 5, 2026, which closed disciplinary proceedings against Naik and restored his retirement benefits. Naik had been suspended shortly before his retirement following allegations that he had deliberately undervalued land conversion processin...
