Goa, Nov. 1 -- Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has said the organisation will not participate in the INDIA bloc rally at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan on November 1, despite expressing support for the Opposition's protest against alleged electoral irregularities.

Dipke made the announcement after meeting Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee in Delhi on Saturday. He said the CJP wanted to retain its identity as an independent and politically neutral organisation while extending support to all groups campaigning against alleged vote theft.

Dipke said the meeting with Banerjee was primarily to thank her for supporting the youth-led movement during its earlier protests at Jantar Mantar over the NEET paper leak. He also ackno...
