Goa, Aug. 11 -- Former Goa Pradesh Congress Committee president Girish Chodankar has levelled serious allegations against the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Goa, claiming that the official social media handles of the CEO are being operated from the BJP's headquarters. He alleged that this undermines the neutrality of the election authority and breaches its constitutional duty.
Chodankar questioned the Election Commission, demanding to know whether the CEO's 'X' and Facebook accounts are being misused to promote partisan narratives. He claimed that certain posts targeting Congress leader Rahul Gandhi were clear evidence of bias, calling it a "blatant breach of neutrality" that damages public trust in the electoral process.
