Goa, Oct. 3 -- The Chinchinim-Deussua Village Panchayat has resolved to begin preparations for its Gram Panchayat Develop ment Plan (GPDP), marking Gandhi Jayanti with a com mitment to charting the future development of the village. The decision was tak en at a special gram sabha held on Thursday, which witnessed active partici pation from villagers and panchayat members. Announcing the resolu tion, Sarpanch Frank Viegas said that the GPDP is a cru cial exercise for grassroots planning. "This is an important step for our panchayat.
