Goa, April 15 -- Rohit Monserrate, Mayor of the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP), convened a meeting with multiple departments to review the rejuvenation plan for St. Inez Creek.

During the meeting, the Mayor raised key concerns regarding pollution, particularly the inflow of sewage into the creek and other water bodies. He stressed the need for coordinated action among departments to address the issue and ensure effective implementation of the rejuvenation project.

Officials discussed measures to improve water quality and restore the ecological health of the creek. The review meeting forms part of ongoing efforts by the CCP to tackle urban pollution and enhance environmental sustainability in the capital city.
