Goa, May 29 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday arrested Giribala Singh, the mother-in-law of Twisha Sharma, who was allegedly found hanging at her marital residence earlier this month.

CBI officials arrived at Giribala Singh's residence in Bhopal at around 10:30 am and questioned her for several hours before formally placing her under arrest at approximately 5:10 pm.

As part of the ongoing probe, the investigating agency also conducted an extensive forensic examination of the residence. Officials used a high-intensity 3D camera to document the entire premises and scanned nearby areas to determine whether the alleged incident spot was visible from surrounding terraces and balconies.
