Goa, June 20 -- Questioning the decision to hold Yoga Day on a Sunday, the Catholic Association of Goa has appealed to the Director of Education to reconsider the circular issued to schools. It said it is unfair to require teachers, students, and staff to attend early morning programmes on a weekly rest day when it can be held on a working day. The association also objected to the inclusion of special schools and urged that the celebration be shifted to a weekday to respect the teaching community's rest day.
