India, Feb. 9 -- A car plunged into a drain late at night after the driver lost control of the vehicle on an internal road near Devashri Green Garden at Porvorim.

According to initial information, poor road conditions are suspected to have contributed to the accident. The stretch reportedly lacks streetlights, is narrow and unrepaired, and has been dug up for underground cabling work.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident. However, residents have raised concerns over the unsafe condition of the road and have urged the authorities to carry out urgent repairs and restore proper lighting to prevent similar accidents in the future.
