Goa, July 23 -- A self-accident was reported on the Merces Highway after the driver of a car allegedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into an electric pole along the roadside.

The impact caused extensive damage to the front-left portion of the car, including the wheel assembly. Despite the severity of the collision, no injuries were reported.

Police personnel reached the scene shortly after the accident and carried out the necessary formalities.

The exact cause of the mishap is yet to be ascertained, and police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
