Canacona, Sept. 3 -- A 33-year-old man from Satorlim, Gaondongrim, died after allegedly suffering an electric shock while checking a water motor near a well.

The deceased has been identified as Eshwant Gaonkar. According to preliminary information, Gaonkar was checking the water motor when he reportedly suffered the electric shock.

His body was later found in a nearby paddy field. Further details regarding the incident are awaited.
