India, March 27 -- Calangute Police have registered an FIR following an alleged assault on a tourist from Bengaluru at Calangute, in which multiple individuals were reportedly attacked with rods.

According to the complaint filed by Sayed Zakir, he and six of his friends were assaulted by staff at a local establishment identified as Planet Goa Restaurant and Shack, resulting in serious injuries. The incident is believed to have been triggered by a minor dispute that escalated into violence.
