Goa, July 2 -- Police have registered a murder case in connection with the suspicious death of Sandeep Salian (42), a water sports boat operator from Udupi, Karnataka, whose body was found in Calangute.

According to police, Salian's death was initially reported under suspicious circumstances. However, following the preliminary investigation, authorities registered a case of murder and launched a detailed probe into the incident.

Salian, a resident of Udupi, Karnataka, was engaged in the water sports business and was reportedly operating boats in the coastal region.
