Goa, Oct. 3 -- Sanayaima, a resident of Manipur, for allegedly being in possession of 1,403.3 grams of ganja worth approximately Rs 1,40,000.

The arrest was made near Dolphin Circle in Calangute, and the seized narcotics have been handed over to authorities for further investigation. Police are continuing their probe to determine the source and distribution network associated with the confiscated contraband.

This operation underscores the ongoing efforts of Goa police to curb drug trafficking in the region.
