Calangute, Sept. 10 -- Calangute Police have registered a Zero FIR following a complaint alleging that an unauthorised transaction of Rs.1,88,500 was carried out from the complainant's bank account by an unknown person.

The complaint was filed in connection with an alleged online financial fraud, following which police registered the case under Section 318(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

The identity of the person allegedly responsible for the unauthorised transaction is yet to be established. Further investigation into the case is underway.
