Goa, Aug. 20 -- Acting on a complaint regarding alleged illegal construction at a sealed property in Umtawaddo, Calangute - which allegedly functioned earlier as a dance bar - the High Court of Bombay at Goa on Tuesday directed State authorities to inspect the site and submit a report at the next hearing.

The complaint was filed through a miscellaneous civil application by former Calangute panchayat member Sudesh Mayekar and Kundan Kerkar, who alleged that one of the respondents, Nasim Parves Jaffrani, had interfered with the sealed premises and carried out demolition work while keeping the front portion intact.
