Calangute Association Sports Club managed to edge past Guardian Angel Sports Club 2-1 in the Goa Professional League match played at Duler Stadium, here, on Saturday. Though both the teams started earnestly it was Calangute Association that broke the deadlock in the 15th minute when Sheldon Pereira's 40-yard free-kick zoomed into the goal beating Guardian Angel SC's defenders and goalkeeper 1-0.
