Goa, May 20 -- An accident involving a bus and a mini van was reported at Karmalghat in Canacona on Wednesday, injuring three persons.

According to preliminary information, one of the injured sustained serious injuries and was shifted to the District Hospital in Margao for advanced medical treatment. The remaining two persons reportedly suffered minor injuries.

Emergency services and local authorities rushed to the accident site shortly after the incident was reported and carried out rescue and traffic clearance operations.

Police have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the collision.
