Bumrah headlines India's 15-member squad for Asian Games
Goa, June 6 -- India have named a strong 15-member squad for the men's cricket competition at the 2026 Asian Games in Japan, with pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah returning to the T20 setup after being rested for the upcoming tours of Ireland and England.Newly-appointed T20I captain Shreyas Iyer will lead the side, while Tilak Varma has been named vice-captain. Teen sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has also secured a place in the squad and is expected to compete for a top-order role alongside Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan.Bumrah replaces Mohammed Siraj, who is part of India's T20I squads for Ireland and England.
