Goa, April 23 -- Mitchell Starc has been cleared by Cricket Australia to travel to India and join the ongoing Indian Premier League, providing a timely boost to Delhi Capitals. The 36-year-old left-arm pacer is expected to be available for selection in Delhi's upcoming clash against Rajasthan Royals on May 1.
Starc had been sidelined due to elbow and shoulder injuries sustained during the Australian summer. Despite the setbacks, he played a pivotal role in The Ashes, featuring in all five Tests and emerging as Player of the Series in Australia's dominant 4-1 victory.
