Goa, Oct. 24 -- In two daring rescue operations on Thursday evening, Drishti Marine lifesavers successfully rescued 38 tourists from a cruise boat and four people from a dinghy after both vessels became stranded on rocks off Aguada Bay, North Goa.

Sources revealed that the cruise boat carrying passengers had a narrow escape after it suffered a sudden engine failure and drifted dangerously close to the rocks near Fort Aguada on Thursday. According to sources, the vessel's engine abruptly shut down, leaving it stranded and vulnerable to the strong current.
