Goa, July 31 -- The Bombay High Court at Goa has reserved its judgment on petitions seeking the premature release of three life convicts in the 2006 Mandar Surlakar murder case.

The petitions have been filed by Rohan Pai Dhungat, Ryan Pinto and Shankar Tiwari, all of whom are serving life sentences and have sought premature release from prison.

The Court has also reserved its decision on a connected petition filed by the victim's father, Deepak Surlakar, who has opposed the premature release of the three convicts.

After hearing submissions from all parties, the High Court reserved its verdict on both the convicts' pleas and the victim's father's petition.
