Mumbai, June 22 -- Two people lost their lives and another sustained critical injuries after a high-speed BMW Z4 crashed into a divider on the Mumbai-Vadodara Highway near Badlapur in the early hours of Sunday.

According to reports, the luxury sports car was travelling from Titwala towards Badlapur when the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle around 3 a.m. The car, reportedly moving at nearly 250 kmph, rammed into a divider and overturned, resulting in a devastating crash.

The impact was so severe that the BMW was completely mangled, with debris scattered across the highway. Eyewitnesses stated that body parts were found several metres away from the accident site due to the force of the collision.
