Bihar Job Aspirants To Begin Hunger Strike On August 18 Over Recruitment Delays
Goa, Aug. 15 -- The agitation by government job aspirants in Bihar is set to intensify, with candidates preparing for teacher recruitment and other competitive examinations announcing an indefinite hunger strike in Patna from August 18. The protest will be held at the Gardanibagh protest site and will focus on delays in several recruitment processes, including BPSC TRE-4, BSSC, librarian, sub-inspector and constable recruitment.
Student leader Dilip Kumar has announced that the hunger strike will begin on August 18. Protesters have warned that if the government does not take concrete action on their demands within five days, they will intensify the agitation and move towards surrounding the Bihar Legislative Assembly.
