Goa, Sept. 8 -- Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has announced that the Goa government will soon begin work on a comprehensive master plan for rapidly expanding Bicholim, aimed at preparing the city for future growth and development.

Sawant said the proposed master plan will focus on modernising key infrastructure, including underground electricity cabling, IT networks, sewage systems and other essential civic facilities.

The plan is intended to ensure that infrastructure development keeps pace with Bicholim's growing population and changing needs, while laying the foundation for planned and sustainable urban development.
