Goa, April 26 -- In a compassionate and student-first move, the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has enabled injured Class X students to appear for their exams directly from hospital beds. The initiative ensures that those recovering from road accidents do not lose an entire academic year due to unforeseen circumstances.

Board Chairman Bhagirath Shetye confirmed that such special provisions were granted to four students this year, reflecting a flexible and humane approach to education. Medical arrangements and supervision were coordinated to maintain exam integrity while prioritising student well-being.
